January 13, 2003 – HTC Research Corp is pleased to announce today that Jeff Shiverdaker has been named CEO and President. Shiverdaker, a long time customer and staunch evangelist of HTC Research Corp’s services, Jeff succeeds, Jesse Hahn, who co-founded the company.

"Jeff Shiverdaker brings a wealth of technology recruiting and management expertise to his new position at HTC Research Corp.," said Jeff Weidner, Chief Operations Officer and co-founder of HTC Research Corp. "I believe Jeff Shiverdaker is able to cultivate a level of professionalism and integrity with our employees and our customers. I feel strongly that he is the right person to maintain and expand HTC’s leadership in the market.”

Prior to joining HTC Research, Jeff Shiverdaker was the Vice President and Managing Director of the retained executive search firm Stratford Group managing their Silicon Valley office. "I'm excited to be here. I was a customer from almost the beginning and know the value that HTC always provided me. We're excited about our plans for growth in the future," said Mr. Shiverdaker. Prior to joining Stratford Group, Mr. Shiverdaker was with Global Executive Search, where he served as a principal officer and specialized in setting up staffing practices in Silicon Valley start-ups, such as Palm Computing, New Moon Systems, Spinway, as well as Fortune 500 companies like SGI. Prior work experience includes serving as vice president of Joint Venture Partners International , a boutique investment banking and joint venture management firm. He received his Bachelors of Science in International Finance from University of Southern California.
